Ra Savage
New Zealand | Art Visual Artist Ra Savage is a visual artist and mother from Ngatiawa, Te-Whanau-A-Apanui, Te Whakatohea, Ngaiterangi, Te Arawa, Scottish, English and Danish ancestory. Ra studied at Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi (Bachelor of Maori Visual Art). She won the Best Maori Theme Award at the 2005 Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Exhibition, and was a participant in the Babel Project – an inter-cultural peace and art project which culminated in a number of exhibitions around Aotearoa-New Zealand. Ra is currently on a break from studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine), to concentrate on raising her beautiful boy Vai and helping her partner Scotty run their business, APL Poker.
