Born in Koper in 1956, in the years '80 and '90 he looked after human rights and he was deputy in the first democratically elected Parliament of Ljubljana. After Slovenia's indipendence he hold important tasks in the diplomacy of his country: embassador in Spain and Cuba and Secretery of State at Foreign Office.
