ChangeMakers Refugee Forum

"ChangeMakers Refugee Forum is a human rights organisation supporting refugee-background communities in New Zealand. We are a non-government (NGO) umbrella organisation for 13 communities in the Wellington Region – Afghani, Assyrian, Burmese, Cambodian, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Iraqi, Oromo, Somali, Rwandan, Sudanese, Ugandan and Zimbabwean. We are run by refugees, for refugees. This makes us unique in New Zealand, and perhaps in the world (we have yet to find a similar organisation). We are a collective voice for the issues of concern to refugees resettling here in New Zealand".
