Shagufta Zia is a Pakistani born Singer who won the "Pride of Performance Award" from the late Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto in 1989. She also was awarded "Best Singer Annual Award" in 1987 by PAK TV. She has been living overseas since 1991. She has a great passion to help those in need. She is a natural singer and Naat Khawan & participated in various Oxfam International Charity shows in New Zealand and Abroad to help the victims of Tsunami and Earthquake in Pakistan. Shagufta stayed for 5 years in Fiji and received the "Golden Voice'' of Pakistan & Pacific" title Award through charity shows for Heart and Stroke patients. Over the past 12 years in New Zealand, Shagufta has been devoting her time, energy and talent for serving the various ethnic communities.
