VRANCEA COUNTY COUNCIL

Vrancea County is located in the South Eastern part of Romania at 200 km from the country’s capital city; it has an area of 4.863 sqkm and a population of 400.000 inhabitants. There are 73 localities (5 towns and 68 communes). The 68 communes of the county (331 villages) are distributed as it follows: 24 in the mountain area, 26 in the hill area and 23 in the plain area.
