The Argentine Foreign Office promotes "Nonviolent Cities"

The commission, which is part of the "Consultative council of civil society" of the Foreign Office, is inviting to the presentation of the initiative on the 27th of May at 5pm, in the Press Room of the San Martin Palace in Buenos Aires.

The proposal, targeted to the cities of Mercosur - a regional trade block in South America made up of Argentine, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil - hopes to create conditions for a better quality of live, promoting public policies for equal opportunities, greater public participation in decision-making and implementing -in education- non-violent strategies.

In the meeting proposals and objectives of the Commission and the World March will be clarified.
