On the 6th of June a World March team of 6 volunteers called bystanders in the Marie Heineken Square to endorse and join the World March for Peace and Nonviolence, asking them to blow a balloon, write a message on the balloon and hang it on a cord in the square.
The action took 6 hours and the aim was to raise public awareness of the World March, to talk to many people to convince them of the urgent need to build a strong voice for Peace and Nonviolence in the World. Although the themes of the World March are very serious, the action was caried out in a light and communicative tone. |
