A small Village in western Kenya march world march for peace and Nonviolence in style

It was on 8th of November and everyone in the village converged at the Peace kids Humanist school in Paponditi to come and participate in this life changing event in the world as at now, everyone sat very curiously and it was really great when speaker after speaker spoke about all the violence affecting the community at large and the whole nation as a whole and it was a sharing moment for everyone to realize that in fact its a possibility to have a peaceful world if all of us would be responsible enough to have the consciousness of wanting peace and nonviolence.

The responsibility starts with me and you and it has to be realized across board without leaving anyone aside. During the function we had many activities which took place in there and the kids really did nice songs about peace, poems, solo verses etc.

There was also a football match for peace and to end it all we did a peace sign to mark the whole accession.

We wanted to reconcile the families in the village who have been living in unfriendly manner and also to bring to the attention of everyone that Kenya has many tribes and with what happened in the year 2007-2008 after the elections in Kenya should not be a repeat in itself.

Let every Kenyan admire each others diverse culture and it will create harmony. We are all brothers and sisters and us belonging to different tribes is in itself a blessing, that we can enjoy the diverse cultural background of these communities living with us.

We hope that together if we unite for peace then we shall get a very peaceful world which will be free from nuclear arms, free from all kind of social, economical, physiological violence against humanity.

LET'S ALL GIVE PEACE A CHANCE AND IT ALL STARTS WITH YOU AND ME!!! LET'S ALL BE HEARD THROUGH THE WORLD MARCH FOR PEACE AND NONVIOLENCE!!
