Malaga presents their initiatives

The event took place on the first of July in the Malaga Centre of Modern Art to present initiatives in motion in the city to promote the World March.

The local authority in Malaga, whose initiative this event was offered the place and the technical means and invited associations around the city through their Citizenry Participation service.

Those present included: the Mayor, Francisco de la Torre, Councillor Julio Andrade and Pedro Moreno from the United Left party.  Other notable personalities took part such as Pepe Begines from the band "No me pises que llevo chanclas" (literally: don't step on me, I'm wearing flipflops).  Rafael de la Rubia, international spokesperson, was also present.

The aim of the event was to advance in the design of the initiatives, proposing a meeting between associations and individuals where the protagonists could publicly explain the activities they are developing.

Representatives of 14 associations made presentations in a joyful, diverse and multicolour atmosphere.
