Celebrating another anniversary of national independence that falls on the 6th of August, Bolivian groups headed a joyful and colourful parade with indigenous music and dancing that went along Avenida de Mayo in the heart of the city.
The gathering was promoted by FACBOL (Federation of Bolivian civil associations), with good participation by the public, especially immigrants from the country that constitute one of the most numerous latin American collectives in Argentina.
The organisers underlined the presence of "The friends of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence", personal and institutional endorsements were gathered and new meetings were agreed to give conferences and organise other activities together.
Community radio stations were there and promised to broadcast news of the March and to promote the activities.
