The World March introduced at Munzur Festival

The purpose of the festival is to put the attention on the problem of the dams in the Munzur Valley. Ugolini participated on various meetings and promoted the world march for peace, which will also pass through Turkey. A part of the march will start end of October from Istanbul to Geneve and will pass also through Trieste, Vicenza and other places in the North East of Italy. Ugolini also made a proposal for a water festival during the European Social Forum next year in Istanbul. A water forum took place in Istanbul last March. Moreover Istanbul will be capital of culture for 2010. During the four days of the Festival there have been concerts, meetings and expositions and a march against the dams which has been joined by thousands of people.
