Vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament welcomed members of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence

The vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Lubomír Zaorálek received a delegation of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence today. He welcomed the initiative and wished the March good success.

Representatives of the March were initially to be received by the president of the Chamber of Deputies and also supporter of the World March Miloslav Vlček. However, due to a very important hearing of the Constitutional Court on the Lisbon Treaty he had to leave Prague and could not meet the delegation.

In their three days in Prague, members of the World March’s base team have met with many important people of Czech political, cultural and intellectual arenas. Among them were the vice-president of Czech Senate Alena Gajdůšková, famous Czech singer Karel Gott or actress Jana Švandová.
