El próximo 23 de octubre el Centro de Estudios Humanistas (CEH) desarrollará una Jornada de apoyo a la Marcha Mundial por la Paz y la No Violencia bajo el título “Perspectivas de No Violencia para un mundo de Paz”.
El acto tendrá lugar en la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares - Facultad de Filosofía y Letras – C/Colegios, 2 (frente a Plaza Cervantes), de 11:00 a 19:00 hrs.
La Jornada discurrirá a través de campos de expresión muy diversos: exposiciones temáticas, testimonios de experiencia, expresiones artísticas musicales, performances, cuentacuentos y mitos. Abordando temas generacionales, educativos y sociales, como es el desarrollo armamentista, especialmente el nuclear, que nos pone a todos en situación de actuar hoy urgentemente, para evitar una catástrofe humana futura, de dimensiones impredecibles.
Se proyectarán documentales que versan sobre la Historia de la No Violencia Activa, su ética y metodología de acción, y el documental 'Bizancio, la raíz común', que nos ilustrará sobre la evolución de las culturas y sus raíces.
Se cerrará la Jornada con varios minutos de imágenes de la Marcha Mundial.

SOLDIERS OF PEACE DUKE OF YORK’S PICTUREHOUSE, BRIGHTON Sunday 18th October 2009 1.30-3.45pm 25 years ago, 5 people were killed by an IRA bomb at the Grand Hotel in Brighton. One of those killed was Sir Anthony Berry. The loss of her father started Jo Berry on a journey from devastation and trauma to working for peace and reconciliation and eventually meeting the man who planted the bomb, Patrick Magee.
Soldiers of Peace, is a remarkable film which tells the stories of individuals across the world who are demonstrating through their lives how peace can emerge out of violence, including Jo Berry and Pat Magee. The screening is to be followed by a discussion with Jo and Pat who will share their own personal journeys, insights and the challenges they face in their work. The event will be the public launch of the charity Jo Berry founded, Building Bridges for Peace. The Charity promotes dialogue, mediation and other non-violent routes to peace in situations of conflict. La Non-violence se fait une Toile ! |

A partir du 15 octobre, un cycle de films promouvant la non-violence comme référence en termes de valeurs, de comportements, ou d'actions sociales, prendra place dans différents cinémas de la Seine Saint-Denis.
Tout comme la marche qui suit un parcours, la culture de la non-violence se déplacera d'un cinéma à un autre invitant les spectateurs à participer à des soirées thématiques. Outre la projection des films, les soirées proposeront des rencontres avec les réalisateurs ainsi que différents acteurs du réseau associatif.
Tout le monde est d'accord pour rejeter la violence, cependant tous les jours les médias nous bombardent d'images chocs et souvent partiales. Le cinéma, 7ème art, utilise aussi les images et peut, par une approche plus sensible nous amener à réfléchir, ouvrir notre esprit et notre cœur à la possibilité d'une autre réalité.
La non violence n'est pas une utopie c'est une attitude face à la vie.

Buone Nuove e La Comunità per lo Sviluppo Umano organizza il laboratorio d'arte "Ascoltare il colore" a sostegno della Marcia Mondiale per la Pace e la Nonviolenza.
«Dipingere i colori osservare il dinamico gioco del loro interagire, averne un'esperienza interiore e sentire nascere in sé un gioioso impulso creativo: tutto questo può essere sperimentato se, con semplicità e senza pregiudizi, ci avviciniamo alla realtà del colore attraverso il processo artistico».
Questo il seminario proposto da Irma Stropeni, pittrice e arteterapeuta insegnante d'arte di formazione antroposofica, domenica 11 ottobre a Milano.
Il laboratorio si terrà dalle 14,30 alle 19 in Via Passerini 18. Il contributo per la partecipazione è di 10 euro a persona, e il ricavato sarà interamente devoluto alla Marcia Mondiale per la Pace e la Nonviolenza. Le adesioni dovranno pervenire entro giovedì 8.

The World March for Peace And Non Violence (WMKL) is the Malaysian leg of the first-ever World March that will travel the world starting from 2nd October 2009 - the anniversary of Gandhi’s birth - in New Zealand to 2nd January 2010 in Argentina, asking for the end of wars, the dismantling of nuclear weapons and for an end to all forms of violence - physical, economic, racial, religious, cultural, sexual and psychological.
This will be a symbolic March to unite people of all sectors of the population, who aspire for peace and a better World. The event aims to create consciousness and public awareness for the urgent need for Peace, and to create a "culture of non-violence" in order to establish and sustain real peace.
5 Non-Government Organizations - NurSalam, The Women's Aid Organization, Voice of the Children, SPCA Selangor and World Without Wars - and the restaurant group Maxim Image are getting together for this cause and have given birth to a cultural street festival to celebrate the arrival of the World March in KL, Malaysia on the 10th of October 2009, from 6pm onwards at Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar, KL.
