Peace Abbey Candle-lighting Ceremony

To celebrate the first day of the WM, we will have a ceremony/reception at the Peace Abbey, a multi-faith Retreat Center dedicated to creating innovative models for society that empower individuals on the paths of nonviolence and peacemaking. Local musicians, singers, dancers, and spoken word performances based on words of Gandhi, M.L. King, and other peacemakers. During the ceremony we will also light the first of 93 candles to be lit during the 93 days of the March.
